Government will integrate people with disabilities in the society, says VP

Nairobi, July 6, 2010. Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka has stressed the need to give people with disabilities in the country equal opportunities to realize their full potential. Mr. Musyoka said the disabled are part and parcel of the society and that they should be made to feel like the able-bodied members of the society.

Kalonzo urges Brazil to import horticultural produce from Kenya

Nairobi, July 6, 2010. The government of the Federative Republic of Brazil will support joint business ventures between Kenyan and Brazilian companies, the visiting Brazilian President Luiz Lula Da Silva has said. President da Silva noted that the move is one of the ways of correcting the trade imbalance between the two countries that stands at approximately Kshs. 5billion.

VP recieves the Brazilian President Luiz Inacio da Silva

Nairobi,July 5, 2010.  Brazilian President, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, jetted into the country this evening for a two-day state visit.  The Plane carrying the Brazilian Head of State and his entourage touched down at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport shortly after 9.30pm.

Kalonzo urges Headteachers to support new constitution

Nakuru, July 5, 2010.  The passing of the new draft constitution will impact positively on the provision of quality education in the country, Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka has said. Mr. Musyoka said the new constitution dispensation will open up the country for investment in education, therefore making it the education hub of the region.
